Cisco Launches New SPA112 and SPA122 ATAs

New IP Phones get all the attention these days so when a new ATA (analog telephone adapter) comes up, it usually doesn’t get much press time. The new SPA112 and SPA122 from Cisco are certainly deserving of some mention here not because they are just new, but because they really improve on an already solid existing platform.

The SPA112 is a direct replacement for the PAP2T while the SPA122 is a replacement for the Cisco SPA2102.

Cisco SPA112

The Cisco SPA112 2 Port Adapter enables high-quality VoIP service with a comprehensive feature set through a broadband Internet connection. Easy to install and use, it works over an IP network to connect analog phones and fax machines to a VoIP service provider and provides support for additional LAN connections.

The Cisco SPA112 includes two standard telephone ports to connect existing analog phones or fax machines to a VoIP service provider. Each phone line can be configured independently.
