Paging devices are a large part of the PBX environment and often would be 15-20% of a typical PBX installation. One of the limitations of trixbox Pro is that there is no really good way to setup more than a few paging devices. With trixbox Pro 5.2, you can assign up to four devices per extension. In a small environment this may work fine but if you need multiple paging zones, this can become an issue very quickly. By using the CyberData VoIP Paging Server, you can use a single extension and create up to 99 different paging zones while each device can be a member of multiple paging groups. This provides a very high level of functionality at a very affordable price.
