The snom Vision is a very unique type of expansion module for snom phones. Rather than connecting directly to the phone itself like other expansion modules, the Vision is a stand-alone ethernet device that talks to a snom 820/821 or 870 over the network connection. The Vision features a 4.3″ High resolution TFT touch screen color display which enables it to do more than just be a speeddial/BLF device. Check out the video for more information.
The snom 821 is the newest IP phone from snom which packs a lot of features into a nice small footprint. With a color display and Gigabit Ethernet switch, the 821 is ideal for office workers to managers and any situation requiring high bandwidth throughput. The wideband technology used in the handset captures more than double the frequency spectrum of a standard handset, making the audio quality comparable to FM radio. On speakerphone, a Class D amplifier reliably suppresses interference noise. With the optional WIFI adapter, the snom 821 can be located anywhere in an office without having to run Ethernet cabling.
The snom M9 is the big brother to the earlier snom M3 model. The snom M9 provides a larger, easier to use handset, G.722 Wideband Audio Support, and delivers two handsets along with the base station. Each handset can be either the same extension or have their own extension so really, right out of the box you have two extensions ready to go.

In this tutorial Kerry walks you through configuring an extension in 3CX and then how to manually configure the snom MeetingPoint Conference Phone to register to that extension. At the time of this writing, there is no provisioning for the MeetingPoint in 3CX so the phone has to be manually configured, but fear not, its not that hard.
