The Wanpipe VoiceTime device provides a reliable hardware clock to Zaptel/Asterisk system. The VoiceTime USB stick replaces the Zaptel ztdummy kernel module. Simply plug in the VoiceTime USB Sync tool into your Asterisk Server.

Why use Sangoma Wanpipe Voice Time ?

Asterisk needs a clock signal for recording, conferencing, etc. Asterisk gets this clock signal from Zaptel. Normally, Zaptel gets it's clocking from a Zaptel hardware card. However Sangoma has released a simple Zaptel timing device called "VoiceTime". This device will provide a proper hardware clock to Zaptel without the need for buying a full card.
