VoIP Gateways are devices that provide VoIP Phone systems an interface with traditional analog phone lines (POTS Lines) or Analog Phones. VoIP Gateways have two different styles of ports, FXS or FXO. FXO ports convert analog signal from POTS Lines to a digital signal capable of being understood by a VoIP Phone System. FXS Ports allow analog phones and other analog devices to be able to interface with a VoIP Phone System. VoIP Gateway deployments can sometimes be confusing, so please consult with our on staff VoIP Advisers if you need any help with your installation.
