The T-Metrics SIP Softphone supports most industry-standard SIP-enabled phone switches, including Avaya, Broadsoft, Cisco, Nortel, Ribbon, Metaswitch, NEC, and Asterisk switches. While it can be fully integrated with the T-Metrics Contact Center, it can also be used (with full functionality) as a standalone module.
The T-Metrics SIP Softphone integrates directly with Microsoft Outlook and Active Directory to import all contacts/users and their information into the display. Agents can search by name then select from a drop-down menu on each contact to begin a new call, compose a new Outlook email, open the contact in Outlook for viewing or editing or set the contact as a favorite.
The T-Metrics SIP Softphone supports the recording of incoming and outgoing phone calls made via the application. It is capable of recording just the call audio or the call audio and the PC screen via the optional capture module licensing. Interactions are recorded seamlessly, working in the background, without any additional action needed on part of the agent, and uploaded to a directory of their choosing.
